How do we make it easier for staff to clock-in to shifts when they arrive at the workplace?
Request
Our client approached us with a request to develop an additional tablet application to complement their temp-worker management product and ATS. The tablet application needed to fully integrate with both the temp-worker management product and ATS. TimeClock gives staff the ability to clock-in to shifts upon arriving at the office using photo and QR check-in, and allows visitors to contact in-office staff via the device upon arriving at the location. TimeClock integrated into the temp-management and ATS systems, syncing to timesheets and ensuring employees got paid for the hours worked, with any pay-rules applied.
Engagement Model
CodeLink built a fully autonomous team consisting of a Product Owner, Full-Stack Developers, and a Quality Assurance Engineer. CodeLink collaborated with the client to understand the scope of features in the backlog, create detailed features and implementation plans, and deploy features upon completion.
Engagement Length and Scale
CodeLink worked on the TimeClock tablet application for four months. The team continues to work on further feature releases for the entire temp-management suite.
Project Outcome
CodeLink developed the TimeClock application, which is now used by a wide range of client customers, such as hospitals and financial institutions, to improve workplace flow.
