How can we standardize our Machine Learning and Backend services?
LUCID approached CodeLink to benefit from our expertise in backend skills, server management, machine learning, and front-end development. LUCID required our assistance in upgrading their product standards and ensuring product quality control.
CodeLink worked with LUCID as an embedded team. LUCID choose the services to upgrade and review and we then worked closely with them to work on the services upgrades.
LUCID engaged CodeLink for 4 months.
The CodeLink team initially worked on two major components of the product: the web components and the microservices built using Python. Afterward, we assisted on a variety of other assigned projects. 1. For the web components, we developed a component system, where each component has its own data management mechanism. These components can be reused in many different apps developed by LUCID. 2. CodeLink contributed to maintaining the Machine Learning and backend services on Kubernetes. 3. We helped establish standards (unit testing, local environment setup, performance checking, and packaging) for most of the LUCID services. 4. We also helped create a Terraform script, deploy a staging cluster with all the services for testing, and worked on system monitoring and quality checking for the DevOps processes.
