How can we standardize and centralize the thousands of digital assets used daily across a complex global network of collaborating teams?
Our client approached CodeLink seeking a team capable of supporting the end-to-end design and development of a single centralized Content Hub platform. The platform is intended to store, find, share, and secure all digital assets. It should be scalable and able to serve various teams across the organization.
CodeLink started with a small team of embedded developers and has since grown into a large-scale, fully autonomous team that handles design, development, quality assurance, and deployment.
We were first engaged as a pair of developers in March 2019. The CodeLink team has scaled up bi-quarterly, adding new members every 6 months to a dedicated autonomous team of now 20 members.
The CodeLink team has completely transformed how content is managed in the client's internal ecosystem with the Content Hub. We designed and developed the platform while collaborating with multiple stakeholders and global client teams. CodeLink successfully migrated multiple legacy apps to the new Content Hub platform for the client's digital assets. The platform has a user-centric focus around four pillars: Store, Find, Share, and Secure. It is fully configurable, with dynamic reusable components, consistent UI/UX behaviors, and scalability. CodeLink has onboarded major game franchises to the Content Hub platform.
