Festiverse: Centralizing the Entire Festival experience in a Single App
CodeLink partnered with Live Nation to create Festiverse, a centralized mobile app with the future goal of being used for all of the major U.S. festivals in Live Nation’s lineup. The platform replaces the disconnected standalone apps usually used for festivals with a single hub for everything festival - schedules, wristband activation, interactive maps, rewards, and more, with additional functionality that brings the festival experience to those who couldn’t make it to the event. Festiverse has already been used as the core festival app at some large-scale festivals, including GovBall and Lollapalooza.
600% User Growth in One Week
During July 12–19, user acquisition spiked from 5K to 34K in just seven days. This sharp rise reflected the intense demand during festival week, when thousands of attendees discovered the app as their go-to companion.
Core App for 26 Events
By September 2025, Festiverse was used at 26 major festivals, reaching an estimated 2.5 million participants across Live Nation’s U.S. events.
25+ Major Features in 6 Months
The product grew from an MVP to a full-featured application in six months and completely replaced standalone event apps. Weekly deployments delivered over 25 major features, including wristband activation, interactive maps, and missions.
#3 in the App Store
The app achieved significant user adoption, reaching an impressive 250K+ download milestone in less than four months after its initial launch. At its peak, it reached #3 in the App Store’s Music category.
Strong User Engagement
Despite not requiring a login, 90% of users have created accounts, 75% built personalized schedules, and 80% enabled notifications. These high adoption rates across key features are clear proof of the app’s product-market fit.
Automated 70% of Manual Efforts
Integrating with a Strapi CMS and TBits allowed festival organizing teams to update content independently, greatly reducing manual updates.
