How can we engage AirAsia ground staff to support the delivery of packages that arrive at AirAsia airports?
After collaborating with CodeLink on RedAirport, an application to manage passengers from check-in to boarding, AirAsia sought their help to create an application for delivering packages from KLIA Airport to any location in Kuala Lumpur. This application allows AirAsia staff to view all available packages for delivery, pick up the package from KLIA airport, and deliver it to its destination with tracking and staged check-ins along the delivery route.
AirAsia engaged CodeLink as a fully autonomous team, responsible for planning the project scope, designing the product flows, and building the admin application on the Web and the delivery application on iOS and Android.
CodeLink worked with AirAsia for 3 months to release the entire V1 product to market to be able to test AirAsia staff adoption and engagement.
CodeLink developed a full V1 of the RedDispatch product, giving Admin the ability to load packages for dispatch onto the system, and AirAsia staff the ability to view available packages via their mobile application and proceed to deliver packages through all steps of the journey. After CodeLink released the entire V1 product, AirAsia launched the product with staff in Kuala Lumpur.
