CodeLink Recognized as Vietnam’s First Temporal Expert Partner
CodeLink’s journey to becoming Vietnam’s first Temporal expert partner; grounded in real client challenges, workflow reliability, and engineering discipline.
We are proud to announce that CodeLink has officially been recognized as the first Vietnamese company in Temporal’s Global Expert Partner Network. This is not merely a partnership; it’s a validation of our engineering depth, built from the ground up by solving our clients' complex operational challenges.

From Client Challenges to Partnership
Our journey to becoming a Temporal Expert Partner was driven by real engineering needs, not trend-following or merely a marketing badge. It started with a persistent problem faced by many of our clients: managing the state and reliability of distributed processes.
When a business scales, its actions become repeatable processes, but applying these to an application built on microservices is immensely difficult. It creates issues not just of human coordination, but of machine reliability and state management across a distributed architecture.
So, from client problems that existing tools could not solve cleanly came advanced Temporal training, internal upskilling across teams, and increasingly complex use cases, eventually putting CodeLink in a position where partnership eligibility made sense.
How We Use Temporal in Our Projects

Original Client Challenges
-
Distributed State Management: In a microservices environment, each service team was implementing custom, boilerplate code to manage the state of their business processes, often relying on databases and queues. This led to inconsistent resiliency and difficult debugging of distributed transactions.
-
Inconsistent Reliability: Clients relied on custom/naive workflow engines that required engineers to thoroughly understand how everything was wired up. Building custom state machines required significant, tedious effort to ensure data consistency, automatic retries, and failure compensation, diverting focus from core business logic.
-
Operational Blind Spots: Lack of a unified view meant workflows were difficult to trace and monitor, leading to poor observability and challenges in enabling human intervention.
How We Solved Them with Temporal Expertise
-
Standardized Reliability: Our teams use Temporal to keep reliability concerns out of day-to-day application logic, allowing engineers to focus on modeling business processes clearly and consistently.
-
Simplified Development: CodeLink engineers design workflows that remain durable, traceable, and recoverable over time, even as processes span days or weeks and involve multiple systems.
-
Enhanced Observability & Control: Teams gain a shared understanding of how workflows behave in production, making it easier to collaborate, intervene when needed, and support human decision points without disrupting execution.

CodeLink’s Temporal Use Case
We are currently focused on replacing legacy, custom-built workflow systems for one of our multilateral development banking clients. Our focus is on implementing durable, highly reliable business processes by leveraging our expertise and hands-on experience with Temporal.
Our engineers had experience with several alternatives in past projects for that client. These tools were powerful but not easy to use, and their integration with cloud services was often limited.
Temporal entered the picture later, offering a more developer-friendly approach while still solving the same orchestration problems. It addressed many of the pain points of previous tools, without being locked into a specific cloud provider or complicating the development experience.
The results so far:
-
Cycle time reduced from 35 days to 20.
-
Division-wide performance improved by 30%.
-
The project team could modernize more areas of the process with confidence.
Nevertheless, Temporal is still maturing, and we are continuing to explore how deeply we can tailor behaviors without introducing friction. But in reliability, debuggability, and development experience, it is consistently superior to previous alternatives we’ve worked with.
What This Means for CodeLink
The Temporal Partnership definitely solidifies our identity as a company that tackles complex systems responsibly and thoughtfully. Mastering tools like such facilitate our workflows and processes in enterprise-grade software engineering and AI implementation.
Let’s hear directly from our engineers:

Looking Ahead
This partnership only happened because a group of dedicated CodeLink engineers spent months strengthening their mastery of distributed systems, testing limits, challenging assumptions, and translating theory into real-world impact. Their work can now feed into:
-
Internal playbooks for reliable process automation
-
Cross-team training programs
-
Shared architectural guidance for future projects
-
A growing center of excellence around durable execution and workflow engineering
As we move forward, our commitment remains unchanged: to help clients modernize complex systems with responsibility, technical honesty, and long-term thinking. Temporal is not the solution to every problem, but where durable execution matters, it gives us a powerful, proven foundation.
Becoming Vietnam’s first Temporal partner is not the end of a journey, but rather the beginning of a new chapter where our engineering teams can build even more reliable, observable, and maintainable systems for the clients who trust us with their most critical workflows.
